M - Bernard Lee

It's great fun to witness Bernard Lee and Sean Connery together once more, albeit briefly. Despite Connery's four-year absence from the Bond films, the 007/M relationship picks up where it left off, with the prerequisite edginess apparent in the earlier films. This time, M must endure Bond showing off his superior knowledge of sherry to impress Sir Donald Munger. M does get in a few, not too subtle, insults, however, and reminds Bond that MI6 does function in his absence. This would be Connery and Lee's last screen appearance together and amply demonstrates the unique chemistry between them.
