to attend the Sotheby's auction of a rare Fabergé egg. It is Fanning's
job to identify the buyer and seller of the precious gem. Unfortunately, he
opts to take along 007 who decides to call the bluff of Kamal Khan by bidding
against him - an action which almost causes Fanning to have a nervous breakdown.
The Sotheby's sequence is quite good, establishing a unique atmosphere and providing
genuine tension. Roger Moore is at this best here, gently tweaking Fanning by
upping his bids to astronomical levels.
