Q - Desmond Llewelyn

This is one of Q's biggest roles to date and one of his most amusing. He is shown demonstrating outlandish devices in his Indian laboratory, then gives Bond several important gadgets, including a homing device built into the Fabergé egg. Q later gives Bond a lift to the scene of the battle at Kamal Khan's palace via a hot-air balloon. He gets some unwanted attention from Octopussy's girls after he saves their lives. He shrugs off their kisses claiming there is no time for frivolity, but does leave the door open saying, 'Later, perhaps.'
