Q's Hot-Air Balloon

Q transports 007 to the Monsoon Palace to rescue Octopussy in the midst of a large-scale battle. The balloon, proudly decorated with the Union flag, is equipped with a closed-circuit television and a video camera which allow Q to monitor the action below. The notion of Bond and Q depending on this mode of transport is ludicrous, of course, but it is nonetheless amusing. For the sequence, both a full-size and a model hot-air balloon were used.
